History
Mount Carmel Educational Society was registered on 22nd November, 1973. The office of
the Society is situated in the state of Maharashtra at Mount Carmel Convent, Dhantoli,
Nagpur.
The main objectives of the society are as follows:
To establish, maintain, administer, schools, colleges, hostels, orphanages, cultural
charitable institutions, hospitals, dispensaries, nursing homes, nursing schools, medical
schools, training classes, rehabilitations centres
and works, in any part of India.
To take, receive, administer and use any gift, request donation or foundation in kind of
money or any other property for any of the object of the Society.
To give charitable aid, medical assistance, undertake social service activities for the relief
of the poor, irrespective of caste, creed or social status.
To hold and conduct classes, lectures, conferences, seminars and competitions and to
give scholarships and free ships.
To train and assist financially teachers, social workers, staff, students, orphans and other
personnel for the purpose of the Society.
